What to Know About Glazed Brick Slips
What Colour Do Glazed Brick Slips Come In?
Stocked Colours
We have stock of 4 popular colours in full and corner slips, available for delivery in 5-7 working days subject to stock quantities. Check each product page for the current availability.
If you are looking into other colours we will be changing our stocked colours to suit demand, so please let us know.
A Range of Standard Colours
We have a standard range of colours that you can select from, from pale blues and greens to dark brown or vivid red. There is also the opportunity to create your own patterns by combining the colours.
These colours are the standard production run, but they are not always on stock, minimum order quantities and longer lead times may apply.
Any Colour
If you have a really specific idea of colour, or something you need to match to exactly, we can do glazed brick slips in any colour with a pantone reference or RAL code for you. However as these need to be made to order, there are minimum order quantities.
Can I use Glazed Brick Slips Inside and Outside?
As the bricks are made for external use as a default, just like the rest of our range, they can be used both inside and outside without any issues.
They have an excellent tolerance to weather, moisture and also general weathering.
How are Glazed Brick Slips Made?
Glazed brick slips are made by firing the clay as with a normal brick to create a solid surface, and then refiring to fuse the glazing colour onto the brick.
The range of glazed brick slips we can offer are cut from full bricks, meaning you can have the exact shade in full bricks too where required.
How Do I Order Glazed Brick Slips?
We currently offer 4 different colours of glazed slps from a small stock. If these aren't quite the right colours or if it's a large project then contact us to discuss your project, and we'll be delighted to help you with samples, lead times and pricing for your project.

Classic Pairing
Paired with Grey Mortar
Grey Mortar is the classic colour, with grey cement being the most common colour. This combination gives a classic look, as they grey doesn't outshine the brick slips themselves, just lets them take the focus.

Colour combination
With Cream Mortar
Cream mortar brings an extra little colour to the final effect. Still quite subtle with the greens and blues it can add an extra visual dimension as well as lighten the overall look.

Lighten it up
With White Mortar
White mortar creates clean and bright lines to outline the coloured glazed brick slips and lighten the whole effect. It blends with the white to create only subtle brick outlines.
