Designed by LDP Kitchens, this stunning kitchen transformation was created to bring warmth, texture, and timeless character into the heart of the home. The client specifically wanted a raw and natural material palette, making brick slips the perfect choice to achieve the desired look and feel.
The Kitchen beforehand:

Why Brick Slips?
The Brick Tile Company was recommended through previous positive experiences within the team, having used the products on earlier projects. When asked what influenced the decision to work with The Brick Tile Company, the designer said:
“Excellent product with a lovely colour range, plus the level of customer service has been excellent. Whenever I call with questions or need help, I always get a prompt reply.”
Originally, the project was planned to include 13sqm of brick slips. However, after reviewing the visuals and seeing just how impactful the design would be, the client decided to expand the feature areas to an impressive 27sqm.
After reviewing several of our sample panels, the final selection was Blend 7 with cream mortar. Chosen for its ability to complement the wider colour palette within the kitchen while adding softness, texture, and character to the space.

The designer supplied detailed plans to The Brick Tile Company team, who carefully calculated the required quantities of brick slips, corners, and installation materials to ensure everything was perfectly suited to the design.
Making The Project Bespoke
One of the standout features of the project is the bespoke brick archways, which add depth and architectural character throughout the kitchen. Alongside the main archway leading from the kitchen into the utility room, the design also included a charming mini archway created especially for the family’s much-loved cat. Designed to mirror the main feature archway, this thoughtful detail added personality and playfulness while tying seamlessly into the overall aesthetic.

The installation was completed by an experienced fitting team from Sharps Joinery and Building, who particularly enjoyed working on the curved archway details as something a little different from a standard installation.
The finished kitchen perfectly balances rustic warmth with refined contemporary design, showcasing how brick slips can completely transform a space with texture, craftsmanship, and personality.
